Very useful. Im a very nearsighted dude. I actually found out my eyes r worse after a year of studying. Damn.

Useless I mean theres only 1 chart cmon! How lazy were they when they made this?!

To the two below, if you bothered to read the description, you would have noticed this was the Snellen eye chart. Yes it is only 1 page and if youve ever been to an Optometrists office, you should have noticed it there too. Any more it is only used as a reference, there are modern machines that are far more accurate. But never the less, the app is exactly what it claims to be, so dont blame it for your own ignorance!

My eye doctor says my eyes are 20:15 witch is better than 20:20 and i am proof of in acuacy as 20:20 is the best possible resault

I should probably get my eyes checked. I could barely read it with my glasses on...

It works fine for my ipod touch. It does what its supposed to do.

It says to have it 4 feet away from you. How are you gunna know exactly 4 feet. Its an good app for free! But they should have an update to make it better. Like a test or something, then it calculates your eye score. It should have better than 20/20 vision, because there are people out there including me that have better than 20/20 vision. My eye doc Said I had better than 20/20. It just needs an update, then Id rate it a 5.

Who ever mitchal is. You cant have better than 20-20 vision. And if your eye doctor told you that get a new one

Good app does what it says it will. To Kotchy - Get your facts straight, you CAN have better than normal (20/20) vision. The 1st number is how far away the person stood from a full size chart. The 2nd number is how far away a person with normal vision could stand from the full size chart & still read the same row of letters. Therefore, a person with 20/15 vision can read at 20 feet what a person with normal vision can only read at 15 feet, thus better than "normal" vision. Note that each eye can also have different results.

In response to review entitled "Huh?" who asks How do we know we are 4 feet from the patient?. The standard cord length of your Apple supplied ear buds is 38". But measure yours. 4 ft is cord plus 4 inches Given the fact that this App is free and just for screening this is a handy application.

I downloaded this app just to tell kotchy that you can have better than 20-20 get you facts straight. Also it is not the best but fun dl it

Id like to address the review, "Good app (v1.1) by Kotchy", written on Feb 3, 2009. You said, "You cant have better than 20-20 vision. Hundreds if not thousands of people have read your review and now they all know how ignorant you really are! Ive had 20/15 vision for over 60 year. But dont feel too bad, cuz whoever make this app must think the same as you. ;^) Thats why I gave this app just 1 star. When they add an update that includes 20/10 or at least 20/15, Ill give another review with 5 stars.
